CycleKey provides smart, secure bicycle storage solutions. We work in partnership with local service providers to create a network of smart bicycle lockers integrated with an online booking platform. Theft is a major problem facing cyclists. Traditional bike locks are insecure and present cumbersome barriers to use. CycleKey differs from other bike locker systems by removing archaic pen-and-paper reservations and allowing keyless entry. Electronic locks and an online booking platform allow users to ditch the keys and allows service providers to eliminate costs. The costs of traditional bike lockers, including key management and key replacement, have been a major barrier to the adoption of these systems. CycleKey facilitates on-demand booking by many users over the internet or mobile device. Usage metrics can be collected to maximize available storage space and allocate new lockers to popular locations.
